Reeled In is an audio-visual production company based in Limburg, the Netherlands. Located in the heart of Euregio Meuse-Rhine, Reeled In operates internationally, across the Netherlands, Benelux, Germany and France.
Marie Lormeau is a French filmmaker based in the south of Dutch Limburg. She graduated from the University of Perpignan with a masters in languages and literature she moved to South Limburg in 2016. In 2018, she founded production company Reeled In. In late 2021, she began working for the local FilmHub CineSud where she currently operates as a Talent Coordinator.
Her short film Le Trajet (2022) was screened at the Netherlands Film Festival. Her short film De Wissel (2023) premiered at Imagine Film Festival. Her latest film, *Fais-toi Beau!*, is currently in distribution.
Driven by intimate stories of fragile peace and human contradictions, Marie’s themes of predilections are gender studies, trauma and love.
Céline Leuven is a director of photography, photographer, colourist, and composer from Limburg. She graduated from RITCS in Brussels in 2019 and has since worked on numerous short films, documentaries, and feature films. She was nominated for Best Music at ShortCutz Amsterdam for her work on the short film Funkele (Nicole Jachmann, 2022). The short documentary Sisters (Zorba Huisman, 2023), for which she did the cinematography and grading, was selected for the debut competition at the Netherlands Film Festival.
Celine’s experience with analog workflows give her a “no fixing it in post” mindset that directly translates into meticulously framed shots where every detail is accounted for. That makes her expertise invaluable and an unmissable asset on set.
Veerle Houben is a filmmaker, creative producer and audiovisual artist from Eijsden. After graduating at Viscom in Maastricht, she studied at LUCA School of Arts in Genk, where she developed a practice centered on experimental storytelling and visual research. Her work explores how emotion, memory, and inner states can be translated into cinematic and spatial experiences. She collaborates on independent productions that combine strong visual language with intimate, human-centered narratives.
Her recent work includes ACCOMPLICE, an interactive installation presented at Lumière Cinema Maastricht during Museumnacht, where she explored collective responsibility and audience participation through an evolving narrative structure. She continues to develop work that bridges film and installation, expanding the boundaries of visual storytelling.
