Youregion EMR Program - 2020

The Youregion projects ran from June 2018 until May 2022. Its main objective is to make the cross-border labour market in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine (EMR) function better and thus eventually realise a 360° labour market that is not constrained by the existence of borders and a peripheral location from a national perspective.

In collaboration with the Immigratie en Naturalisatiedienst (IND) and Gemeente Maastricht, Expat Centre Maastricht region is participating in a pilot which brings the services and expertise of the IND from the larger cities in the Netherlands to Maastricht. No need to take time out of work or study for travel, and no lengthy wait times to receive crucial documentation.
